PORTER AVE. CORRIDOR PROJECT

On Tuesday, September 22, 2009, City Council voted 8-0 to approve Resolution R-0910-54 to accept the Porter Avenue Corridor Study. The primary objective of the Porter Avenue Corridor Study is to articulate a vision for the future development of Porter Avenue. This vote enables City staff to proceed with several pieces of work recommended in the study, namely the creation of a Zoning Overlay District for the Corridor, development of funding recommendations for future implementation, and the creation of Schematic Designs for the Corridor.
