Greenbelt Commission
Update as of February 2010
Over the past year, a subcommittee of the Greenbelt Commission has written and refined an amended Greenbelt Commission ordinance to clarify the role of the Commission in the review of proposed developments. The draft ordinance amendment was presented to the community at the January 25th Greenbelt Commission meeting. The meeting was held in the Multi Purpose Room at 201 West Gray Street at 6:30 p.m. Copies of that draft ordinance, both annotated and not annotated can be viewed from the links below.

Public comments and suggestions about the Draft Amemded Greenbelt Ordinance
Greenway Master Plan-The City Council accepted the draft Greenway Master Plan in conjunction with the Storm Water Master Plan at their November 10th City Council meeting. The Greenbelt Commission has identified additional refinements that will be needed before implementation of the plan. Work on these refinements began in January of 2010 and are hoped to be completed by April/May.
