Fire Prevention
Thank you for your interest in fire prevention. The fire prevention bureau is dedicated to protecting the citizens of Norman from the dangers of fire. The bureau does this through inspecting for unsafe conditions, developing fire safety codes, reviewing construction for life safety issues, and through public education. The bureau also investigates the origin and cause of fire. Our service page has information regarding our smoke detector program, fire extinguisher training, the safety trailer, and burn permits.
