Crime Prevention

As a police department we are sworn to protect the public and property, while maintaining respect for individual rights and human dignity. To make the most of the resources we have we look at what we can do to protect the most people from harm and the most property from damage. Statistically, accidents cause more deaths and injuries than all other crime combined. Accidents also account for several million dollars worth of damage to personal property each year, so our focus the majority of the time is spent trying to reduce accidents, so please help us by slowing down, buckling up, and driving safely.
